long post, just cuz’
crazy ass night! what?! maybe it’s the photo of jesus i carry around with me under my phone case, but what a way to start summer. i truly feel blessed. and what is the lesson of the day? be nice.
so i planned to kickstart summer by attending this one event that jay park was supposed to be at. i got super sick from the week, and though eh maybe i might not even go. 9pm rolled around, and my friend texted me that she could not drive. i did not even think we would go anymore. 10pm came, and i was like, “i wanna go. finals just ended.” i picked her up, sped a little since we were late, and found parking by 1050. there is no such thing as parking in downtown, so blessing number one. when we got there, guest list closed and we did not bring enough for cover. so i asked the girl really nicely, and persuaded her to let me and my friend in for ten dollars cheaper. she actually let us in; blessing numero dos. when we got in, we thought, “he won’t even be here, or he’d probably come at like 2 or something.” we walked around, mingled.. that sort of thing, and suddenly fan girls rushed to him. it was pretty hectic. nobody was allowed to take pictures with him and he was sectioned off into this private area. i wanted that picture lol! so as i was behind the rope, i asked one of the guys there if i could ask him a question. i told him that i just wanted a picture, and talked to the guy for a bit. then he was like “hmm yeah hey, i’ll hook you up, but you gotta be cool about it.” my friend and i ended up getting inside, got to take a picture and talk with jay a bit, and then chilled with the rest of his crew+ aj rafael(?) while sipping a little of that bubbly. wtf? at the end of the night, we found out that the guy was one of jay’s close friends, and he said that i looked ‘nice’ so that was why he let us in. thankfully i got a little bit of my mother’s ability to persuade haha. what a kind friend! anyways, moral of the story: be nice. and that is all. good, good night.
